Questions

  • We only use premium synthetic fibers carefully chosen to be lightweight, incredibly soft, and built to last. We do NOT use real silk or real mink in any of our products. Kiki Lashes is an animal-cruelty-free establishment committed to ethical, compassionate beauty.

  • With specialised lash glue. We use a top-grade, advanced formula, but we strongly recommend a patch test during your eyelash extension consultation. If you have sensitive eyes or allergies, this helps ensure you won’t have a reaction after the semi-permanent extensions.

  • Yes. We are the pioneers in the industry to offer LED eyelash extension. More information on LED lash extension > HERE

  • You can, but be very gentle — the brush may pull on your lashes and cause damage, loosening, or even loss. Avoid waterproof mascaras and apply product only to the tips of the lashes.

  • When you remove your makeup, just be extremely careful and do your best to avoid touching the lashes. Use a gentle eye makeup remover with a cleansing wipe rather than cotton balls or Q-tips, which can result in fibers being caught on your extensions. Do not use an oil-based makeup remover, as oil-based products can affect the glue negatively.

  • There are germs all around us that can’t be avoided even with extra care. Many people find it hard to wash their faces thoroughly while keeping their eyelash extensions. As a result, there is a risk of multiplying germs around the eye area. Keeping our eyelashes clean and protecting against eye infections are challenges that we face. Some eyelash extensions are sterilised and coated immediately after they are made and before packaging. However, this doesn’t protect the products from germ growth after the opening of the package. With proper care, Antibacterial eyelashes may protect your eyes from the time you have them on until they fall off.

  • We strongly recommend going to a professional to have your eyelash extensions removed, as they are trained in the process and know how to do it properly without damaging your own lashes or pulling the natural ones out along with the fake ones.

  • Eyelash hair grows from the root so the natural lashes will not be affected by the application of lash extensions. They can therefore be worn continually provided that the correct after-care regarding maintenance and removal is followed.

  • The duration of your lash appointment depends on the treatment you choose.

A classic lash set typically takes about one hour, offering a timeless and natural look.

For a lash lift, you can expect the service to last around one hour and a half, giving your natural lashes a beautifully lifted appearance.

For more intricate treatments like 6D volume lashes, the process can take up to three hours to achieve a bold and dramatic effect.

At Kiki Lashes, we take the time needed to ensure every detail is perfect, leaving you with flawless, long-lasting results tailored to your preferences. Your lash artist will discuss the process and timing during your consultation.

  • Yes, eyelash extensions are for everyone.

Very fair people can have a lash tint prior to the application of extensions. Those with shorter and finer lashes can have more light weight lash extensions applied.

  • At Kiki Lashes, our aim is to use only cruelty-free and non-animal lashes for all our services. We prioritise ethical practices and high-quality materials to ensure our clients enjoy luxurious lashes with a clear conscience.

We are committed to continuously verifying the sourcing of our materials to align with our values. Your trust and our ethical standards are our top priorities.

  • No.

Your natural lashes fall out every 60 to 90 days, but we do not notice when they fall out quite as much because there’s already a new lash growing behind it.

False lashes are often thicker and longer than your natural lashes, so when they fall out, you may wind up noticing it more.

With lash extensions that are adhered to your natural lashes, they can fall out anywhere from a week to a couple months down the road. Typically, you will need to get them replaced every six to eight weeks.

  • To ensure your lash extensions last as long as possible, follow these tips:

    1. Opt for LED Lash Curing
At Kiki Lashes, we use LED light lash curing, a revolutionary technique that strengthens the bond between the adhesive and your natural lashes. This innovative process improves retention, ensuring your extensions last longer while keeping your natural lashes healthy.

    2. Avoid Water and Steam for 24–48 Hours
After your appointment, avoid water, steam, or sweating excessively to allow the adhesive to cure properly.

    3. Clean Your Lashes Daily
Use a foam cleanser recommended by your lash artist to gently clean your lashes. This prevents buildup of oils, makeup, and debris, ensuring your extensions stay fresh and last longer.

    4. Use Oil-Free Products
Only use oil-free cleansers and makeup removers around your eyes to avoid weakening the adhesive bond.

    5. Brush Daily
Gently brush your lashes with a clean spoolie to keep them neat and prevent tangling.

    6. Schedule Regular Infills
Book infills every 2–3 weeks to maintain fullness and replace any natural shedding.
